Google Cloud has partnered with blockchain infrastructure company MultiversX (formerly Elrond) to enhance its Web3 presence. The partnership will enable ecosystem builders to utilize MultiversX ‘s sophisticated tools and services.
Google Cloud has incorporated MultiversX into the platform, enabling Web3 projects and users to gain valuable insights from the ecosystem’s robust data analytics and artificial intelligence tools.
MultiversX asserts that the partnership between the two companies has the potential to expedite the execution of large-scale, data-first blockchain initiatives immediately.
According to the company, this should make it easier for developers to access data regarding addresses, transaction quantities, smart contract interactions, and enhanced on-chain analytics.
On the other hand, Google Cloud’s participation in the MultiversX network will enable ecosystem builders to utilize the platform’s sophisticated tools and services to bring high performance and scalability to the non-blockchain components of their decentralized application dApps. Daniel Rood, Google Cloud’s Head of Web3 EMEA, added:
“There are exciting opportunities to enable Web3 developers to build and scale faster and as we explore new verticals within the space, our partnership with MultiversX will allow us to expand our strategy and reach further and solidify our position as one of the main innovation drivers in the blockchain world.”
MultiversX has established alliances with well-known brands to promote Web3 use cases in the traditional world. ICI D|SERVICES, the first European institutional marketplace for digital assets, and holoride, Audi’s platform for in-car virtual reality, have selected MultiversX as their preferred platform.
The blockchain infrastructure company specializing in metaverse scalability also announced a new set of scalable features for its decentralized digital asset wallet xPortal SuperApp.
The enhanced features will facilitate the management of both fiat and cryptocurrencies. Beginning in 2024, xPortal users will have access to peer-to-peer fiat payments and European IBANs, SEPA, and SWIFT.
The platform also announced the launch of the xWorlds Developer Kit, which provides various unique tools that developers can use to create the next generation of augmented reality experiences using xPortal as a wallet and distribution hub. The package also includes incredibly realistic AI-powered 3D avatars.
