Since the launch of OpenAI’s ChatGPT in November 2022, when searches for “AI” first appeared, the disparity between these and crypto-related search terms has grown.

The outcomes might not be unexpected, given that Bitcoin has been adversely affected by the final stages of a bear market cycle that persisted throughout the majority of 2022 and the latter half of 2021. Nevertheless, it regained ground that it had previously lost throughout this year.
Bitcoin debuted the year at $16,900, significantly lower than its all-time high of $68,729 on November 11, 2021. As of the time of publication, it has risen approximately 150% to $43,400, according to CoinMarketCap data. Bitcoin attracted the most interest from El Salvador, Nigeria, the Netherlands, Brazil, and Switzerland, according to Google Trends.
Conversely, artificial intelligence experienced a remarkable year of advancements, encompassing concerns that it might displace actors, an abundance of AI nudity services, and enthusiasm surrounding the introduction of ChatGPT, Google Bard, and GrokAI (the latter of which was initiated by tech billionaire Elon Musk), among others.
According to Google Trends data, users in Vietnam, China, the Philippines, and Myanmar are particularly interested in AI.
