The financial blockchain protocol Injective released a new software development kit, allowing users to design their own AI agents on-chain.
On November 19, Injective revealed the iAgent, a software development kit that can be used with huge language models like OpenAI’s ChatGPT to provide customers with on-chain AI agents.
According to Injective, iAgent seeks to expand the potential of artificial intelligence in the financial industry.
The AI-powered tool, unveiled at the Injective Summit 2024, is intended to simplify blockchain interactions.
Users can use iAgent’s natural language processing capabilities to manage their money, send payments, and make transactions.
Additionally, user interactions with databases, APIs, and apps are automated by agentic AI systems. iAgents work similarly to automated assistants or bots, and users can create many agents with distinct functions. It is possible to set up each agent separately. Injective posted on X:
Once you’ve set up agents, you use commands in everyday English to interact with them. For instance, you could have one agent for tracking market data and another dedicated to executing trades”
The iAgent initiative’s launch is in line with Injective’s larger plans to increase its footprint across a range of market areas.
With developments like the BUIDL Index, which follows BlackRock’s tokenized fund, the layer-1 protocol has recently acquired popularity in the real-world assets space and is now competing with other platforms.
Additionally, Injective has teamed up with Mountain Protocol, which issues the yield-bearing stablecoin USDM, to provide its users tokenized U.S. Treasury bills.
