In a bid to bridge the knowledge gap and assist in the adoption of cryptocurrency, Jack Dorsey is venturing into the Bitcoin education space.

Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey just revealed that he is entering the Bitcoin education space. This is being done in conjunction with Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter and a few other cryptocurrency businesses. In a tweet on Thursday, he announced the news on The Bitcoin Academy.
The Bitcoin Association recently opened an online Bitcoin school that specializes in university-style crypto courses. Bitcoin Theory, Bitcoin Development, and Bitcoin Infrastructure are all included in the curriculum, with varying levels of complexity.
Bitcoin, according to Dorsey, might become a key tool in American communities, much as it has in Africa, Central America, and South America.
The purpose of this Bitcoin endeavor by Jack Dorsey is to show that making sophisticated tools more accessible to individuals is a good thing, he continued.
“Education is where we start. This is not just about Bitcoin. It’s about long-term thinking, local economies, and self-confidence. Courses are free to all Marcy residents, including kids. And to make it even easier we are providing devices and data plans for all who need it.”
The program of the Academy seeks to impart education and knowledge to the community. It aims to remove impediments so citizens can learn more about Bitcoin and money.
While the Bitcoin school is now centered in the Marcy Houses neighborhood, it has plans to expand to other areas. On June 22, the program at Jack Dorsey’s Bitcoin school, which is open to all members of the New York community, will begin.
“Those who sign up for the initiative will receive MiFi devices as well as a one-year limited data plan and if needed, smartphones.”
