In 2023, the largest Bitcoin conference on the continent will return to Westergas to connect Bitcoiners and celebrate Innovation
BTC Inc, the company behind the Bitcoin Conference and Amsterdam Decentralized, a local initiative to promote Bitcoin innovation and education in the Netherlands, will host the conference on October 12-13 at the Culture Village Westergas, a historic industrial site in Amsterdam.
The event will focus on hyperbitcoinization; the process of Bitcoin becoming the global currency and industry growth.
The conference highlights Amsterdam’s leadership in Bitcoin innovation and acceptance, featuring over 100 speakers, 50 exhibitors, and 5,000 attendees from around the world.
David Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin Magazine, said:
“Together, we are pursuing the goal of hyperbitcoinization.”
Alex Gladstein, Human Rights Foundation chief strategy officer; Adam Back, Blockstream CEO; Stella Assange, WikiLeaks founder; Bert and Peter Slagter, LekkerCryptisch founders; and others will speak.
The conference will include workshops, panels, networking activities, and parties.
Tickets cost €250 for general entry and €2,500 for a VIP Whale Pass. VIP Whale Passes feature priority entry, a VIP lounge, speaker dinner, and exclusive goodies.
One of Europe’s most prominent events, the conference is expected to draw 150,000 visitors to Amsterdam over five years. Sebastiaan van Erne, a conference organizer, said,
