Kamala Harris launched a $50 million aggressive ad campaign in response to Donald Trump’s latest ad release, heating up politics.
On Tuesday, July 30, Vice President Kamala Harris announced a startling $50 million advertising effort ahead of the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
This marks the first substantial ad campaign since Harris emerged as the likely Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential race.
Moreover, the team fought back at former President Donald Trump’s 30-second ad that aimed at Harris today.
A Look At Kamala Harris’ Ad Campaign
The first ad, dubbed “Fearless,” shows Kamala Harris’ broad legal history and her term as Vice President.
Furthermore, it distinguishes her as a champion for the American people.
Harris stated in the advertisement, “The focus of this campaign is on the individuals we advocate for.” She added:
“We believe in a future where every person has the opportunity not just to get by, but to get ahead. Where every senior can retire with dignity.”
Moreover, the ad stresses her career milestones as a prosecutor and California Attorney General.
It displays her reputation for standing up to bullies, criminals, and special interests.
In addition, Kamala Harris’ campaign chair, Jen O’Malley Dillon, confirmed this narrative by stating:
“Throughout her career as a courtroom prosecutor, Attorney General, United States Senator, and now as Vice President, Kamala Harris has always stood up to bullies, criminals and special interests on behalf of the American people – and she’s beaten them.”
Dillon even suggested that Harris is capable of defeating Trump.
The campaign’s chairman said, “She’s uniquely suited to take on Donald Trump, a convicted felon who has spent his entire life ripping off working people, tearing away our rights, and fighting for himself.”
Trump’s Latest Ad Disses Harris
On the same day, former President Donald J. Trump ran his first television ad targeting Harris.
The 30-second spot exposes footage of Harris dancing with images of migrants crossing the border.
It also accuses her of failing to fulfill her duties as the “border czar.”
Furthermore, the ad blames Harris for millions of border crossings and a quarter-million fentanyl deaths, claiming that these tragedies occurred “on Harris’s watch.”
It ends with the tagline “Failed.” Weak. “Dangerous Liberal” appeared over footage of Harris dancing at a hip-hop 50th anniversary celebration.
This aggressive ad is Trump’s first major television buy since Harris was named the Democratic nominee.
Furthermore, the ad’s content seeks to hold Harris accountable for what Trump’s team considers significant failures in border security and public safety during her time as Vice President.
In addition, on Monday, July 29, the Trump campaign began booking a two-week ad reservation.
It focuses on the top six battleground states.
At the Bitcoin Conference on Saturday, Trump declared that he would initiate the SEC shake-up by dismissing Gary Gensler on his first day in the White House.
