MicroStrategy has added 3,907 Bitcoin and now holds almost 110, 000 Bitcoin. The firm’s holdings are worth more than $5.3 billion at the current BTC price.
The business intelligence firm increased its Bitcoin holdings by 3,907 BTC between July 1 and Monday, Aug. 23, according to a Form 8-K filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission issued on Tuesday.
MicroStrategy spent an average of $45,294 on the additional Bitcoin, according to the SEC filing.
Michael Saylor’s company now owns 108,992 BTC, which cost the company $2.918 billion to buy at an average price of $26,769 per “coin.”
The company’s Bitcoin assets are now valued over $5.3 billion, with Bitcoin trading above $49,000.
