OpenSea introduces OpenSea Pro, a sophisticated marketplace made to compete with rivals like Blur’s zero-fee platform.
A well-known NFT marketplace called OpenSea has announced the launch of OpenSea Pro, an enhanced trading platform built for experienced NFT traders .The decision was made in response to Blur, a rival zero-fee NFT marketplace, rapidly expanding.
In order to offer its consumers professional trading capabilities, the NFT marketplace bought Gem v2, an NFT aggregation platform, in April 2022 and rebranded it as OpenSea Pro.
The marketplace will compile listings from 170 marketplaces with no costs, providing the best offers for dealers. Advanced floor sweeping, fast sales, inventory management, gas fee optimization for effective trade, watchlist capabilities, and other features will all be supported by the platform.
Mobile devices will also be able to access it. The development of OpenSea Pro into the most effective NFT trading tool available is credited to Gem’s technology by Devin Finzer, CEO of OpenSea.
Finzer lauded the platform for its brisk user experience for NFT purchases and its real-time capabilities. Blur has presented fierce competition for the NFT marketplace , leading the company to drop creator fees in an effort to draw traders.
The company is restoring 2.5% creator fees on its primary platform with the introduction of the marketplace. Finzer stressed that the money received from these fees would be put back into developing the NFT market.
Finzer says that the NFT marketplace will continue to prioritize retail traders and producers by concentrating on partnerships, primary drops, and smart contract standards despite the fact that the marketplace is being launched amid severe rivalry with Blur.
The company wants to advance the use cases for NFTs while making it easier for new users to learn about and buy NFTs. With the use of the marketplace , users can transition from the primary platform to a more polished experience.
