Shiba Inu developers have announced that in a few days, they will be releasing a video preview of another metaverse hub, called Rocket Pond .
The announcement comes after Shib: The Metaverse launched a giveaway contest to celebrate the launch of its official Twitter account on April 11. The contest, which is scheduled to expire on April 30, will give the winners ten plots of land. It was necessary to follow the new Twitter account and retweet the notification in order to participate in the giveaway.
Although the metaverse team hasn’t specified a specific time for revealing Rocket Pond’s mysteries, it is widely believed that it will happen after the team has finished the giveaway competition.
Shiba Inu’s Rocket Pond
The Metaverse, is among the 11 hubs featured in the Rocket Pond hub. The word “Rockets” in the crypto language, which refers to the possibility for an asset’s value to skyrocket, is a play on the name Rocket Pond.
In September 2022, Shiba Inu published a black-and-white drawing of the Rocket Pond Hub. Three days later, it released another vibrant hub concept to showcase how it would look once it was operational.
This came after the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas, in March 2023, which gave attendees an inside look into one of the hubs titled WAGMI Temple.
Rocket Pond is designed to give guests the sense that they are in a mountain resort that is concealed from view thanks to its pristine waters, an abundance of wildlife, and resort buildings that dot the mountain.
The architectural style of the hub is reported to have been influenced by a number of American locations, including Glenwood Caverns and Lake Tahoe.
The creators of Shib mentioned that the Metaverse are confident that their initiative will reshape gaming’s future and improve gamers’ interactions with blockchain technology. The crew has additionally committed to giving frequent updates and keeping the neighborhood updated on the project’s progress.
