Turkish automaker Togg has partnered with digital assets custodian Metaco for the latter to help safeguard its digital assets custody and open mobility ecosystem based on Avalanche.
For consumers in Turkey and Europe, Togg’s mobility-as-a-service platform seeks to enable use cases driven by smart contracts, such as tokenization of mobility services, CO2 footprint analysis, and nonfungible token ownership.
Via their agreement, Togg will be able to secure the custody and governance of its digital assets through using Metaco’s Harmonize digital asset orchestration and custody platform. The initiative’s CEO, Mehmet Gürcan Karakaş of Togg, shared some insights:
“Blockchain-enabled digital tokens allow data and other assets to be stored and transferred in a fast, secure, and green way. By leveraging technology from Metaco, we make this possible.”
The Metaco platform, hosted on IBM Cloud, gives Togg complete control over its encrypted data, workloads, and encryption keys. The release claims that Harmonize has the compliance requirements used by Tier 1 institutions when dealing with digital assets.
