After a recent message by Aave’s founder that went viral on Twitter, Stani Kulechov has been banned from the platform as his tweet appeared to spread fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD).
The move was said to be done to reduce “FUD.”
“Breaking: Joining Twitter as interim CEO.” states the message, which can no longer be accessible because Mr. Kulechov’s account has now been suspended.
Kulechov not only pinned the tweet, but he also followed up with a thank-you message to Elon Musk, Twitter’s current CEO. It says:
“Thank you @elonmusk for the opportunity to work at Twitter. My first agenda is the roadmap for 90 days : Ship edit button by next week, -Open-source the Twitter algorithms, -Add support for Ethereum & ENS, -Integrate with @LensProtocol”
Kulechov’s account was eventually suspended, and the move has since been linked to Elon Musk’s efforts to combat misinformation. While Musk has stated that permitting free expression on Twitter is an important element of his mission, misinformation is not.
Elon Musk was inundated with many demands from the cryptocurrency community after becoming the CEO of Twitter after just purchasing the platform. Adding the Dogecoin to the Twitter logo was one among them.
While Musk has yet to answer to the numerous demands, it is worth noting that the ongoing event has helped Dogecoin considerably. After rumors that Twitter was exploring Musk’s acquisition broke on April 25th, the asset jumped 20%. Although Dogecoin is still down over 2% at the time of writing, its weekly losses have subsided.
