How to Participate in the NFT Contest
The team has launched a user-generated content (UGC) contest to produce 960 Genesis NFT designs to celebrate the community and the game reveal.
The total prize pool for this contest is over 2 million GMT tokens, worth about $431,400 at the time of writing. The winners will receive 2,084 GMT each, as well as 2% creator royalties from their NFTs.
The contest has three phases, each lasting for a month. During each phase, users can create designs of 16 avatars based on given codenames. Each phase will have 20 winners for each codename, resulting in 320 total winners.
The winners will be selected based on the originality of the theme, design quality, and backstory. Users can submit designs for multiple heroes. Phase 1 is now live with 16 codenames available.
Users can submit their designs on the Gas Hero website or on Twitter using the hashtag #GasHeroContest. The deadline for Phase 1 is the 31st of December.
