Worldcoin App Hits 1M Daily Users This Week

Worldcoin reached a significant milestone in adoption this week, when the daily count of World App users surpassed one million.

This past weekend, Sam Altman’s Worldcoin announced that its community participation and activity on X had increased.

The company announced that Worldcoin’s wallet, World App, surpassed one million daily active users this week.  The World App is the initial client to be developed using the Worldcoin framework.

The significant increase in daily users represents a noteworthy milestone for the financial and digital identity network. Evidence shows that an increasing number of people are attracted to Worldcoin’s services and products, including its Orb scanning and verification application. 

Worldcoin debuted the World App in May 2023, claiming that it enables users to “verify their identity online with World ID, retrieve their Worldcoin tokens, and transfer digital currency worldwide for free.”  It was introduced when Sam Altman pursued $100 million in funding to develop Worldcoin applications of this caliber. 

Worldcoin Development Amid the AI boom, Worldcoin has encountered a few obstacles to date; however, the company has grown substantially. Even after discontinuing its service for retinal recognition in France, India, and Brazil, Worldcoin introduced its orb verification system in Singapore. 

The fluctuating nature of its solution has not impeded the expansion of World ID, which accumulated an astounding 16,000 Orb verifications yesterday. 

One of the recent significant achievements of the organization led by Altman is the parabolic trajectory of the Worldcoin (WLD) price. In the previous week, the token generated profits of over 80%. When composing this text, WLD traded at $4.72, reflecting a twenty-four-hour surge of 11.82%. 

The general public is bewildered by the news of a rise in daily users for Worldcoin’s World App; some are even more concerned about the potential repercussions for OpenAI’s newest venture, Sora.
