1inch, decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator, has teamed up with an animated series based company, to sponsor an NFTs Series Take My Muffin.
1inch said on Friday that it would be sponsoring the nonfungible token (NFT) series Take My Muffin, as well as giving technical support and connecting team members to projects in the decentralized finance (DeFi) field.
The series will premiere in the first half of 2022 and will chronicle the exploits of a group of critters attempting to get startup projects off the ground — with lots of wackiness and blockchain-based solutions thrown in for good measure.
“A relationship of this magnitude is unsurprising,” says Anton Bukov, co-founder of sai 1inch. “From the outset, the crypto community supported Take My Muffin. It’s the world’s first cryptocurrency-funded animated series.”
Take My Muffin wants to incorporate the interaction into the show’s plot from the first episode, according to 1inch chief communications officer Sergey Maslennikov. The project will also assist with merchandising and events for the series as a sponsor.
He continued, “
“This partnership should help 1inch reach a broader general audience. Of course, it’s fun — and DeFi segment should try to save this mood instead of turning into another traditional and boring banking-alike industry.”
In recent months, several crypto giants have expressed interest in the NFT animated series. Despite a premature start in July, the Stoner Cats NFTs, which gave holders access to the cartoon series, sold out in less than an hour.
The creator of Rick and Morty has teamed together with Fox Broadcasting Company to create an animated sitcom “selected entirely on the Blockchain.”
