The new agreement allows Phala Network to employ io.net’s GPU cloud infrastructure to expand its AI capabilities and make advanced computation more accessible.
According to a press statement GPU cloud network io.net has joined with Phala Network to enhance safe computing and decentralized AI capabilities.
Users may access high-performance GPUs on demand with io.net’s IO Cloud service, which can save up to 90% on costs compared to typical cloud services.
Without spending a lot of money on expensive hardware, machine learning experts and developers can access the processing power required to train and implement AI models.
Through the partnership, Phala Network can access IO Cloud, io.net’s cloud network, for powerful GPU hardware, hence broadening the scope of Phala’s decentralized AI ecosystem.Â
Thanks to this collaboration, Phala will be better equipped to operate sophisticated AI applications safely thanks to the use of Nvidia H100 and H200 GPUs, which are renowned for their cutting-edge cryptographic safeguards.
Put in another way, this partnership will facilitate and lower the cost of developers carrying out sophisticated AI activities while maintaining data security.
Io.net’s GPU resources will support Phala Network’s Trusted Execution Environment CPU nodes. TEEs are discrete hardware components that are meant to manage sensitive data securely.Â
AI WorkloadsÂ
In August, Phala unveiled the first benchmark for GPUs with TEE support, according to the press release.
Phala guarantees that AI tasks be handled safely with Nvidia’s private computing features—such as encrypted memory and secure boot—through the io.net network.
Phala Network is renowned for providing a decentralized platform that allows developers to carry out intricate activities privately and independently of conventional blockchain networks.
Its infrastructure of more than 40,000 TEE CPU nodes protects user privacy while enabling Web3 applications to tackle computationally demanding tasks.
Research and benchmarking will be done by Io.net and Phala Network, initially focusing on Nvidia’s H100 and H200 GPUs.
According to the statement, they intend to improve both parties’ capacity to support safe and decentralized AI operations by integrating Phala’s AI agents and hardware into the IO Network. This may result in Web3 apps powered by AI that are easier to use and more effective.
