Arcade will airdrop a platform for lending digital collectibles. Three percent of the ARCD token supply will be sent to owners of particular NFT collections.
Arcade announced its “Clash of Clans” airdrop program on Medium. The effort aims to disperse ARCD tokens among 4,000 wallets, with each wallet able to claim 750 ARCD tokens. The team will take a snapshot on February 19 at 8:00 p.m. UTC, then distribute tokens in two stages: public claim and whitelist.
Arcade intends to “randomly select” 2,000 wallets with NFT collections, including Pudgy Penguin, Lil Pudgy, or Sappy Seal, during the whitelist phase.
Based on the successful linking of Solana or Bitcoin wallets with NFT collections, such as Mad Lads, Tensorians, BTC Puppets, NodeMonkes, or RSIC, at the time of the snapshot, the remaining 2,000 wallets will be selected.
Although the specifics of the random selection procedure are still unknown, Arcade provided participants with a timeline. On February 21, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. UTC, participants can make token claims through the Claim Raffle Whitelist phase.
The public claim phase will begin the same day at 9:00 p.m. UTC. According to the blog post, the public claim phase will stay open “until all remaining spots left” from the whitelist phase have been claimed.
Users of the NFT site Arcade, formerly known as Pawn.fi, can borrow money secured by valuable digital collectibles. The platform raised $15 million in a Series A funding round by Pantera Capital in December 2021. Castle Island Ventures, Franklin Templeton Blockchain Fund, and Golden Tree Asset Management all contributed to the round.
