xAI, an artificial intelligence startup founded by Elon Musk, will be available as a standalone application and as an integration into his social media platform X.
Recently, following the launch of Grok AI, a rival chatbot to ChatGPT, Elon Musk, the owner of X, declared his intention to incorporate his startup, xAI, into X, a social media platform.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, reportedly verified this and stated that it would be available as both an integrated feature of the 𝕏 app and a standalone application.
However, Elon Musk’s announcement regarding integrating xAI into the X social media platform was made in response to a user’s inquiry regarding the potential release of a new application for the AI startup.
Integration of the xAI startup with the X platform
xAI, an artificial intelligence startup founded by Elon Musk, will be available as a standalone application and as an integration into his social media platform X.
The declaration coincided with the recent introduction of Grok, an artificial intelligence chatbot that is anticipated to contend with ChatGPT, Bard, and AI chatbots like Bing.
Elon Musk described Grok in a social media post as a human-like assistant with a sense of humor, in contrast to other AI chatbots currently available.
Grok is designed to provide responses to inquiries with an element of humor and defiance, according to xAI in a post; therefore, individuals who detest humor should not use it.
Can Grok AI surpass ChatGPT?
Powered by xAI, Grok, a chatbot distinguished by its witty and humorous nature, responds to users’ inquiries and requests for information.
An additional significant distinction between Grok and ChatGPT is that Grok delivers data in real-time.
Grok is a maximum truth-seeking AI that will be several times more effective than the current ChatGPT, according to Elon Musk, who is proud of this new debut.
An additional significant benefit of Grok is that it will be powered by xAI, and once integrated with the X social media platform, it will have access to real-time data.
The data will be gathered from individuals worldwide through X, an information center encompassing a wide range of subjects.
Integration will occur between xAI and X, despite their differences; this is a step in Elon Musk’s direction toward transforming X’s social media platform into an “everything app.”
The Grok feature is currently only accessible to a small group of users, but it will soon be available to all premium X users.
It is worth mentioning that following the acquisition of Twitter for $44 billion, Elon Musk developed a personal interest in the project and spared no effort in developing X, an everything app that ultimately gave rise to the xAI startup.
He is collaborating with the X team in close proximity to develop a social and financial application for users.
