On the other hand, the developers’ network has successfully completed the launch of Ethereum 2.0 Testnet Steklo. This is first evidence Stake (PoS) communication between different Ethereum clients.
Some of the clients involved in the ETH 2.0 are Lighthouse, Teku, Nimbus, and Prysm. Along with it, ETH 1 clients like Besu, Geth, and Netherland also participated.
The Ethereum 2.0 developer Diederik Loerakker said that Steklo testnet is very unstable in Moving Towards User-Centric Testnets. He added the following:
“Testnet is currently very unstable and more of a platform for devs to debug customers today. In the next few weeks, we will run more user-focused testnets when things are stabilized. We have made several progress with testnet configuration and client integration, all of them working on this first devnet,” he said.
