Following its $24 million investment, Gemini has appointed a new, skilled head of operations for the Indian market.
Sachin Ranglani has been selected by the business to oversee its growth there. Rangliani joined Gemini in September as vice president and head of India.
Rangliani formerly served as Paytm, an Indian fintech company,’s vice president of product management for three years. He has worked for well-known digital firms like Uber and Amazon.
Gemini will put its engineering hub close to the nation’s capital, Delhi, in Gurgaon. The Indian team will be in charge of various duties, including payments, compliance, warehousing, and security.
The Gurgaon office currently has 70 employees, and by the end of the year, that number is anticipated to rise to 100. The business also plans to hire more employees in the nation through technical product managers, personnel for human resources and talent acquisition, and staff members for finance, engineering, and law.
Gemini stated they have the utmost regard and admiration for the nation’s history of engineering achievement and see India as a hub for talent in technology that sets new standards. They noted that the Gurgaon location would be the second-largest Gemini engineering center after the one in the United States.
