Popstar Miley Cyrus performed at the private birthday party of actress Gabriela Novogratz who is the daughter of Galaxy Digital’s CEO Mike Novogratz.
The celebration was held to commemorate the birthday of the billionaire’s daughter, actress Gabriela Novogratz, according to a report from Dan’s Paper on August 2.
Cyrus wore a red leotard and sang a medley of her hits, including “Wrecking Ball” and “Party in the USA,” as well as versions by Sinead O’Connor, The Pixies, and Blondie, among others.
Cyrus made his first public appearance on July 29, when he performed at Lollapalooza 2021 in Chicago.
At Novogratz’s home in Amagansett, Long Island, Cyrus performed from a tent covered in huge mermaids, in keeping with the party’s Coney Island Mermaid Parade motif.
Page Six compares the event to a carnival, including stilt-walkers, aerial acrobats, and Joey Chestnut, the winner of the Hot Dog Eating Contest.
Guests entered the celebration through a massive entryway that looked like a box office, with neon lights spelling out the word “Novopark” above it.
The party also included a silent disco, where visitors could dance to their favourite tracks while wearing headphones.
Novogratz, who has been dubbed “one of Wall Street’s hardest-charging party animals,” shared a photo of himself wearing a bandana, metallic blazer, no shirt, and painted-on abdominal muscle while at the party with his kid dressed as a sailor on Instagram.
Novogratz recently commented on China’s mining crackdown and emigration, claiming that the events will boost North American miners’ worldwide standing and may prove to be a long-term good for the industry.
Galaxy Digital provided a $20 million Bitcoin-backed loan to Argo Blockchain, a U.K.-based crypto miner, towards the end of June to help fund the construction of a data center in West Texas.
