Strike has announced its expansion into the United Kingdom, enabling individuals and businesses in the country to access the company’s suite of Bitcoin and Lightning Network services.
These services include purchasing, selling, sending, and withdrawing bitcoin, as well as global payments. The company’s founder, Jack Mallers, is of the opinion that bitcoin has the potential to address some of the most pressing economic issues of our time, including global debt, inflation, and financial inequality.
With this expansion, Strike is now accessible in 100 countries and territories worldwide, including the United States, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. The United Kingdom, the second-largest economy in Europe and the sixth-largest globally, presents significant opportunities for adoption of bitcoin.
