Yield Guild Games (YGG), a leading play-to-earn guild, has partnered with Iskra, a web3 gaming hub, to integrate its questing systems into Iskra’s blockchain games. This collaboration aims to enhance the web3 gaming ecosystem in Southeast Asia.
The partnership, formalized by a memorandum of understanding (MOU), aims to integrate YGG’s questing systems into Iskra’s blockchain games portfolio. This will enable gamers to earn rewards by completing quests across different games while also increasing user engagement and retention.
The partnership also establishes a collaborative relationship between YGG and Iskra, laying the foundation for joint marketing campaigns through Discord events and Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) sessions. The two parties will work together to promote web3 gaming in Southeast Asia, a region with a large and growing gaming market.
As part of the partnership, YGG and Iskra have engaged in a YGG/ISK token swap, allowing YGG to make purchases, pay for services, and participate in the Iskra DAO within the Iskra ecosystem.
The Iskra DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization that governs the Iskra platform and its affiliated games. By joining the Iskra DAO, YGG will represent the interests of its community in governance decisions, as well as benefit from the platform’s development and growth.
Additionally, as a Pioneer NFT holder, YGG gains entry into the Iskra Community Tier System, a rewarding framework that recognizes community members for their contributions. The tier system grants access to exclusive perks, such as early access to new games, special events, and airdrops.
The partnership with Iskra is positioned as a pivotal step for web3 gaming in Southeast Asia, as it leverages YGG’s expertise and taps into Iskra’s substantial user base.
