KLKTN subsidiary has announced a partnership with Cool Cats Group to venture into the Japanese anime market through web3 integration.
Animoca Brands Japan and KLKTN, two divisions of the same corporation, have joined up with Cool Cats Group to introduce web3 technology to the Japanese anime market.
Animoca Brands Japan will purchase a portion of Cool Cats Group as part of the agreement, and KLKTN will receive Cool Cats NFTs for their anime and web3-focused project, San FranTokyo.
By collaborating with Cool Cats, Animoca Brands hopes to produce a product that combines web3, the newest advancement in internet technology, with manga, the well-known Japanese comic book genre.
The group behind the Cool Cats and Cool Pets NFT lines is called The Cool Cats Group, and they are known for their eye-catching, vibrant cat designs.
Through partnerships, merchandise, events, and community-driven projects, they seek to create an inclusive community and deliver long-term value, with an emphasis on extending the Cool Cats universe through interactive experiences and storytelling.
One of the first major undertakings was the writing of a manga story with Cool Cats, the story and illustrations being done by a Japanese artist. The collaboration also attempts to expand the Cool Cats brand in Japan by connecting with well-known figures in Japanese culture and utilizing various media.
In addition, San FranTokyo—where visitors can engage and view advertising associated with other well-known Japanese tales and characters—will incorporate the Cool Cats theme. David Taing of KLKTN said that the partnership’s goal is to bring disparate styles and ideas together, particularly regarding web3.
