In February, the California-based Tesla announced that it intended to begin accepting crypto-money as a way to pay its $1.5 billion investment in Bitcoin.

After the investment policy was updated in January by the world’s leading electronic car manufacturer, Bitcoin bet was made for the purchase of digital assets.

Bitcoin climbed to $57,204 at 9:55 a.m in New York, as reported by Bloomberg. After a record of 61,742 $ on March 13, the token fluctuated wildly.

Tesla shares fell by 1.2% on Wednesday to $654.40 and grew over 500% in the past year.

He added: Tesla only will use open source software and that Bitcoin payments to the company will not be changed into a fiat currency and will remain Bitcoin.

This comes after Tesla Inc. surprised the market earlier this year by betting on Bitcoin.

The milliardaire has often tweeted cryptocurrency issues and recently called Bitcoin “a good thing” to show that he is the largest cryptocurrency advocate.
